Parking on Pedestrian Sundays

Due to City safety regulations no cars can be parked or driven on Augusta Ave. (Dundas to College), Baldwin St., Kensington Ave. and St. Andrews St. between 12noon and 7:00pm, on Pedestrian Sundays.All vehicles parked on these closed streets after 12noon will be relocated without charge to an area lot. We'd of course much prefer not to have to tow your car, so please remember to move her out before noon.

All access to businesses and homes will be maintained throughout the closure period, except by motor vehicle (car, truck, van, SUV, motorcycle etc.) Cyclists are asked to walk their bikes through the pedestrian priority areas. Additional bicycle parking has recently been added to the market.  

Pedestrian Sundays take place on May 29th, June 26th, July 31st, August 28th, September 25th, and October 30th, 2011.

If you have off-street legal parking that has access from the closed streets, you will either have to remove your vehicle before Noon each Pedestrian Sunday, or you will have to wait until after 7:00 p.m. to move it.
