The Black-Out Festival: Kensington Unplugged - 2004

A day of electricity awareness: acoustic music instead of radios, skimpier clothing instead of air conditioning, kid-powered toys and non-electrical fun (hopscotch, bubble-blowing, board games, street theatre), lantern-making, and an evening of candle-light, acoustic music, and a thank you celebration for everyone's hard work.

A celebration of the 2003 blackout, and a reminder to tread lighter on our earth.
